The Best Selling Electronics

As you may have noticed there has not been any activity here for the last month or so. Well life happens and sometimes it sucks.

Getting the ambition to make any kind of contribution here has not been easy.On the 24th of August our eldest cat Billy died at the rather young age of 8 years. The vet says he had a blood clot and was dieing of heart failure when we took him to the emergency room. Then on September 3rd I get handed a letter of termination with no more explanation then, “You didn’t fit.” Only two months after receiving a perfect review and a 10% salary increase and being told repeatedly that I was a perfect fit I get fired for not fitting in. They did give me an excellent letter of recommendation.

It’s been suggested that I seek legal representation and attempt to sue them for a real explanation or at least for wrongful termination. However it was an at-will contract so I believe I am over the barrel so to speak. Also I’d rather not give them any cause to bad mouth me to a potential future employer.

This experience has taught me that there is no such thing a loyalty from an employer and I will never again make the mistake of giving an employer loyalty. In selecting a place to work environment will take second place to paycheck. An enjoyable and friendly environment has proven to be nothing but a sham, it would seem that it is a guise for cloak and dagger activities.

My thoughts on this matter are still unfocused with impotent frustration, maybe later I’ll be able to make a coherent post about it. For now the search for a new job continues.
